How our vocabulary lists are made
Every public vocabulary set on TeachUEasy goes through the same three-stage editorial pipeline. We believe in being transparent about it: AI helps us draft at scale, humans decide what ships.
AI-assisted drafting
Definitions, translations (Ukrainian and Czech), phonetic transcriptions and example content are first drafted with the help of large language models, following a fixed style guide: learner-friendly definitions that make a word guessable without context, natural native phrasing instead of literal calques, and phonemic IPA.
Human review
Every set is reviewed by a human editor before it is published. Reviews cover sense selection (which meanings of a word actually matter for learners), definition quality, category structure and difficulty levels. Corrections are applied through a moderated pipeline — nothing changes on a page without an explicit human approval.
Continuous corrections
Vocabulary pages are living documents. When learners or teachers report a mistake, the fix goes through the same review pipeline and the page updates within a day. The "Updated" date on each set reflects the last accepted change.
